My goal has always been to push the boundaries of myself and the camera. This tandem allows me to create frames that genuinely capture the myriad of emotions that arise and dance in front of the lens.
My Process
Effective Storytelling
When I take photos, I often ask, "How can I clearly translate to the viewer the difficulty of what this athlete is doing?" Conveying the difficulty of any performance or adventure elicits a deep and honest emotional response in the viewer. I also want the athletes to be able to look back at their photo and say, "Wow, I did that."
